The Grand Hotel Wicklow has recently appointed a new General Manager. Sean Kelly is originally from Galway, and is now settled with his family in Bray. He brings extensive knowledge of the hotel and catering industry, having worked most recently as Corporate Catering Manager with Landsdowne Road, and previously with the Thomas Reid Group (Kingswood Country House), Doyle Hotels (The Burlington) and also Stateside in Martha’s Vineyard. In his spare time he is an avid rugby, golf and GAA enthusiast.

Sean’s priorities at The Grand are to ensure the highest of customer service standards as well as guaranteeing top quality food and conference & banqueting facilities. Already he has appointed a new Food & Beverages Manager; Monika Laskowska,and a new Front Desk Manager; Beth Ronan from Wicklow Town. In addition Wynne’s main hotel bar has undergone a stylish re-vamp and the main Abbey and Friar Function rooms are currently being re-decorated.
