Chamber President wishes all it's members a very happy Christmas!

Denis Fielding President of Wicklow Town & District Chamber would like to wish all chamber members a very happy Christmas and prosperous new year, "2011 has been another very challenging and sometimes difficult year for businesses but I feel every cloud has a silver lining. I truly believe that Wicklow Town has never looked as good and the immense good-will of its people has really shone through this year. We had a brillaint Wicklow Business Showcase in June; the water irrigation system for our beautiful hanging baskets has been errected at a cost of €30,000; the Business Endeavour Awards were a magnificent success for all concered and the icing on the cake is the recent announcement that the "Christmas Business Towns Competition" has been won by Victorian Wicklow Town at the Gaol. If we continue to promote and maximise the potential of our local economy we will continue to reap the rewards and benefits for all businesses and this can only be a very good thing for us all. I hope you all take the well deserved break over the holidays and be fighting fit for a new chapter of prosperity in 2012.
