“We are thrilled to mark this important milestone for the Bray site,” said Gill McDonald, Clinical Facility Manager, Oriderm.  “We, as a highly skilled team, continue to evolve, with the support of the IDA, by constantly investigating and implementing new testing approaches and techniques and ensuring we have the most up to date and state of the art instrumentation and facility thus it enables us to design and implement new Test Methods to support Oriflame product launches.  We have focussed heavily in recent years on Wellness and with the commissioning of our new Sensory Lab, we can really formulate products for consumers globally.

“Wellness by Oriflame is one of our key strategic brands and Oriflame R&D leads the technical development of these Swedish inspired food and nutritional products. Our Wellness category is the fastest growing category within the Oriflame business and we see potential for more investment and job creation in this area,” continued Gill.

Congratulating Oriflame on this event Martin Shanahan, CEO, IDA Ireland said “Supporting client companies in key activities – such as R&D – further embeds the operation in Ireland and adds to the strategic importance of the site to the parent company.  Oriflame R&D continues to go from strength to strength in Bray and makes a significant contribution to the local economy here by providing excellent employment opportunities.  On behalf of IDA Ireland, I would like to offer the entire team its continued support into the future.”
